Welcome to Your Session

Massage Therapy for Healing, Connection & Inner Awareness

The fact that you're here is already meaningful. It means you're seeking to feel better, to care for yourself more deeply, and to reconnect with that part of you that quietly knows exactly what you need—the part that’s always been there, waiting to be heard.

Massage therapy isn’t just about relieving tension—it's about creating space for your body and soul to speak, to unwind, and to heal. I invite you to treat this time as a personal sanctuary, free of daily worries, where you can gently drop into your body and simply be.

This is a safe, supportive space. Please feel free to ask any questions or share anything that will help you feel more comfortable. While I do encourage quiet sessions to allow you to go deeper into your experience, you’re always welcome to speak up if anything needs adjusting.

Our bodies store memories and emotions in the tissues. Many aches, tensions, and imbalances arise from energy that has become stuck. With mindful touch and your willingness to be present, we can begin to move that energy—opening the door to healing, release, and deeper self-awareness.

As we begin, remember to be kind to yourself. Let your breath guide you back into your body. You don’t need to “do” anything—just allow. I’m truly honored to support you on this journey inward, and I’m here to help you feel safe, supported, and whole.

Session Preparation & What to Expect

Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow time for parking. We are located on Savannah Street, directly behind Deschutes Property Management.
If this is your first session, please arrive 10 minutes early to complete an intake form and sign the HIPAA compliance agreement. This helps ensure we can begin on time and you receive the full duration of your session.

To provide the best possible care, please let me know ahead of time about any injuries, surgeries, falls, or accidents. If you're working with other healthcare providers such as a Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, Osteopath, or Acupuncturist, feel free to have relevant documents sent to Rootdownhealing.massage@gmail.com.

Session Flow

Each session begins with three deep breaths to help you center and arrive in your body.

You'll be invited to take a small inhalation of an essential oil of your choosing (please let me know if you'd like to skip this or if you have sensitivities). This is followed by a 2-minute sound bath using hand-crafted Koshi chimes, each representing one of the four elements. Based on your session intention, I will select the chime that aligns best.

Then, we’ll begin the hands-on bodywork, personalized to your needs and intentions. Before the session, we’ll discuss your goals and any areas you'd like to focus on.

Your session will conclude with a gentle sound bath to help you re-enter your day feeling renewed.

Aftercare Suggestions

Be kind to yourself as you carry this renewed sense of peace and calmness into the rest of your day

“The mind can go in a thousand directions, but on this beautiful path, I walk in peace. With each step, the wind blows. With each step, a flower blooms.”
